My First Travel Video: Montreal

A few months ago I went to one of the best summer destinations (in my opinion): Montreal! I have been there four times, three of which were during the 4th of July holiday weekend, and each time is absolutely amazing. There are countless things to do and so much to see. It's a fun, unique and memorable city (and one of my all-time favorites).

Usually when I go on trips, I take a bunch of photos to share on my blog and personal social media accounts. However, during my last trip to Montreal, I decided to add some video to the mix. I admit, I am no videographer, but I have dabbled a little bit with Final Cut Pro, so I figured I would put some of that experience to use and cobble something together. I'm a few months late showing this, but better late than never!

This video highlights some of my experience this summer in Montreal, including the International Jazz Festival, Cirque Fest, Carifiesta Caribbean Carnival, Picnic Electronik, the Poutine Fest, wandering around Old Montreal and a live concert with one of my favorite artists, Joss Stone. This is just some of what you can look forward to if you find yourself in Montreal in the summertime. Enjoy!

I hope to add more video (and become more skilled at it) along the way. I figure I should also try appearing in one of these videos at some point, so look out for me in the future!

Have you been to Montreal? What's your favorite thing to do there?
