My Favorite Travel Photos, Ever!

Do you ever look back at your travel photos weeks, months or even years after you've taken them?

Confession: I do this all the time. Even as I continue traveling and taking more photos, I love looking back at what I've captured. It makes me nostalgic and grateful for the experiences.

For reasons I can't always explain, there are several photos I've taken over the years that I love. Make that really love. Some photos invoke certain feelings while others I like because of how they're framed. Regardless of the reason, these photos stick with me years later, and every time I look at them, I'm transported right back to that moment.

Here are my favorite travel photos I have ever taken:

2014: Elephants cooling down by the watering hole at Gomo Gomo Game Lodge in Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa.

2014: The view of Chapman's Peak Drive from a lookout point in Cape Town, South Africa.

2013: A celebratory street representing the Year of the Snake in Singapore.

2012: A shadowed Fatehpur Sikri in Agra, India.

2012: An elephant spurts water from its trunk while walking down the street in Jaipur, India.

2011: The sun makes an appearance after a rainy and windy afternoon at the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, Ireland.

2011: Policemen take a break from patrolling in Rome, Italy.

2011: A calm and misty morning looking out at the caldera in Santorini, Greece.

2011: A donkey meanders by a lake just outside of Ifrane, Morocco.

2010: A vibrant and beautiful bouquet of flowers at the Columbia Road Flower Market in London, England.

2008: A reflective sunset behind voluminous clouds in Arenal, Costa Rica.
