This past week, I traveled to New Orleans for work, and it was an amazing whirlwind, to say the least. It wasn’t my first time in New Orleans, but it’s been so long since I last went that it sort of felt like my first time. I probably got a total of 18 hours of sleep over the course of six days while I was there, buuut I’d do it all over again.
Though my schedule was jam-packed, I managed to snag a few moments of free time which I spent wandering around the city and taking lots of photos. In particular, I took a ton of photos in the French Quarter, as most of my time was spent in that area.
The city was more beautiful than I remember and is celebrating its 300th anniversary this year, which is exciting. So, I thought I’d share some of the photos I took with you. Also I don’t really have any brain power left after my intense work week to write anything more substantive at the moment, but pictures are always nice, don’t you think?
Here are some of my favorite photos from my time in Nola.
Nola, you pretty thing, I’ll see you again one day. Don’t change.
Have you ever been to New Orleans?
